The Apple Blossom Ladies Auxiliary is thrilled to present "Death by Apple Bite," the first installment in a side-splittingly funny murder mystery series by Appleseed Community Theatre.

Join us for "Apple Blossom Ladies Auxiliary presents: Death by Apple Bite (A Crabapple production to help support chickens in need. Really, all birds.)."
Written by local playwright, Jonathan Lamb, this unique production will have you in stitches as our bumbling detectives fumble through a play within a play, all while you enjoy a delicious dinner.

When the newly crowned Ms. Apple Tart is found dead in the local Orchard with an apple core next to her, the local Amateur Sleuth is called upon to once again solve the murder. Of course the Local Cop will have none of that. Is the Orchard Owner’s family to blame? What about the losing contestants from the Tart Pageant? Relationships will be revealed. Families discovered. But most importantly, who killed the Apple Queen. Find out who is truly evil to the core.

Meet Playwright Jonathan Lamb!

I was lucky enough to get my writing experience going for the Local Lupus Alliance. I wrote 5 Murder Mysteries to help raise funds for them. I am also extremely excited to get to premiere my first full length play “Adventures Await” at the La Crosse Community Theatre in April 2025. I spent my life growing up in local theatres. I have had the pleasure of Directing and Choreographing for many local High Schools as well as both LCT and Appleseed. Some of my favorites at Appleseed were Nunsense, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Company, Music Man, and Legally Blonde. I would like to thank my family for always supporting me and keeping me grounded. Thank you to the cast and Appleseed to help this kooky, fun evening a reality.
