Welcome to the You Betcha Hobby Horse Track, where the stakes are as high as your aunt’s hair at a county fair, and the horses are on sticks—but don’t tell them that. Tonight, it’s not just about who wins the race... it’s about who survives it.

When beloved Derby founder and stick-horse enthusiast Herbie Olson mysteriously drops dead (RIP, Herbie), the community rallies to honor him the best way they know how: competitive prancing, intense side-eye, and a suspicious amount of rhubarb bars. But as the glitter flies and gossip gallops, someone’s hobby horse isn't the only thing hiding secrets.

With a cast full of eccentric riders, overly invested horse parents, a suspicious horse doctor, and a reporter who’s seen one too many Dateline episodes, this Minnesota-nice crowd quickly turns Minnesota-murdery.

Who killed Herbie? Who tied in the race? And will there be lemon bars left by intermission?!
